I joined the North Dublin City GP training scheme in 2021, and since then gained a wealth of experience working with marginalized groups and skills to work in areas of deprivation.

Some highlights of this experience include working with Spirasi (the Irish centre for survivors of torture), SafetyNet (both their Inclusion Health Hub and Outreach Bus services), and addiction medicine. I have also completed my Level 1 Methadone prescribing

I have a special interest in Sexual Health – having completed the STI Foundation course and other requirements for prescribing PrEP. I also have experience with LARC (Implanon) and CervicalCheck certification.

I am passionate about technology and its role in General Practice; from web development, the evolving use of AI in practice, and IT security. I have also made a map of community resources in North Dublin City – work in progress!
